Why is my loft failing?
CADDIE
The guide curve in Loft1 isn't piercing both profiles — that's what's causing the failure.

Fix: Edit Sketch4 → select the guide curve endpoint → Add Relation → Pierce.

How do I add a fillet to the sharp edge?

Real scenarios SolidWorks engineers face every day.

Debugging

Stop searching forums.

Your sketch shows dangling relations after renaming a reference plane. Instead of searching StackOverflow for an hour, ask Caddie — it sees your feature tree and tells you exactly which relation to delete and what to replace it with.

My sketch has a dangling relation after I renamed Top Plane
In Boss-Extrude1 sketch, the coincident relation on line 3 references the old plane name. Right-click it → Delete Relation → re-add Coincident to Top Plane.
🎓
Certification

Study with your model open.

Working toward CSWP certification? Caddie walks you through practice exercises step by step, referencing your actual model. Ask it to explain why a feature was built a certain way and get exam-level answers.

Walk me through this lofted feature for my CSWP prep
Your Loft1 uses 3 profiles and 1 guide curve — a common CSWP question type. The key constraint examiners test: guide curves must pierce all profiles, not just intersect.

Model Review

Catch issues before your supervisor does.

One click runs a full model review — rebuild errors, naming conventions, dangling references, and design intent issues — all prioritized by severity so you know what to fix first.

Review my model for issues before I send it to the team
3 issues found:
🔴 Sketch3 has external ref to deleted edge
🟡 5 features use default names (Extrude1…)
🟢 Configuration naming looks good

Designed for how engineers actually work.

Three principles that most AI tools miss entirely.

📊
Context-Aware AI

Before answering, Caddie reads your feature tree, active configuration, selection state, rebuild errors, and takes a live viewport screenshot. Every answer references your actual model — not a textbook example.

🔄
Always Up to Date

Caddie notifies you inside SolidWorks when a new version is ready. One download, ten seconds to apply — no re-registration needed. You never need to check a website.

🔒
Private by Default

All conversation history, notes, and preferences are stored in SQLite on your PC. No account needed, no telemetry, no analytics — confidential designs stay confidential.

💬
Smart Chat

Ask anything about your model. Caddie answers with specific references to your feature names, sketches, and mates.

🎓
CSWP → CSWE Training

Structured exercises and step-by-step guidance aligned with Dassault's certification syllabi.

3

Ask anything

Type your question. Caddie responds with specific advice referencing your actual feature names, sketches, and mates.

What engineers are saying.

"Caddie saved me 45 minutes on a loft failure I'd been fighting all morning. It saw exactly which sketch had the broken guide curve."
